Candidate Profile: Insaf Guedidi is a Ph.D. Candidate in Economic Sciences at the Higher School of Economic and Commercial Sciences of Tunis (ESSECT), under a joint supervision arrangement with University Paris 1, Pantheon Sorbonne. She is a World Trade Organization (WTO) Chair Junior Fellow at the University of Tunis. She obtained a BBA in Business Analytics and Finance from Tunis Business School (TBS). She holds a M.Sc. degree in Economic and Business Intelligence from the Higher Institute of Management of Tunis (ISGT). She had two enriching research stays at the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) and Sorbonne Economics Center (CES), University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. During this period, she took part in seminars and workshops to present her studies.

Candidate Profile: Clémence’s research interests lie in the interaction of health economics, public economics and behavioral economics. She focuses on the determinants of investment in preventive health behaviors such as screening, treatment adherence or nutritional behavior. Her research combines household surveys and original datasources to assess the impact of foreign aid on HIV screening in Malawi ; to understand the non-adherence to HIV preventive treatment among female sex workers in Côte d’Ivoire or the impact of a sugar-sweetened beverage tax on children health in Mexico.
