Data & Sustainable Development
The Association “Sorbonne Développement Durable” invites you to participate in the first edition of its annual international symposium, “Data & Sustainable Development“, which will be held from 5 to 7 December 2022 at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, La Cité du développement durable and Hopscotch (Paris, FR). This conference is organised in partnership with the Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne (CES), the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), and the Labex Dynamite (LabEx).
We will discuss the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular focus on the very rich databases used today by the humanities, social sciences and legal sciences as well as the biases induced by these quantitative approaches and how best to mitigate them.
Poster presentations, papers and round tables are planned, including a work in progress by artist Alessia Sanna during the three days. A visit to the Jardin d’Agronomie Tropicale (Nogent-sur-Marne) will also take place.
You can find all the information about the symposium and its program here.
